An Embodied Approach in the Study of Experience (EASE) network project

The EASE network project, funded by the program of international collaboration of the national scientific and technological research commission of the government of Chile (CONICYT-PAI), aims to promote the exchange and generation of knowledge around the theoretical, methodological and epistemological challenges posed by the implementation of an embodied approach in the study of experience. Body awareness and recovery in fibromyalgia patients

The objective of the project is to investigate the recovery experience of people with fibromyalgia and explore the contribution of body awareness in this process. Another parallel objective of this study is to understand the notion of “recovery” in the context of a chronic disease such as fibromyalgia. For this we use a phenomenological and qualitative approach that integrates the phenomenological interview and body mapping.
